Yourbarfactory will start activities in Châteauguay as of December 2018

 Yourbarfactory

The City of Châteauguay today officially announced the sale of a 200,000 sq. Ft. lot to Yourbarfactory in the industrial park and unveiled the plan for the building to be erected during the groundbreaking ceremony. This sale will enable the completion of an investment project that will eventually create about one hundred jobs in the Châteauguay industrial park.

"The YourbarFactory project is exactly what we are looking for: a valuable building, an innovative manufacturing company and jobs! "Proudly launched the Mayor of Châteauguay, Mr. Pierre-Paul Routhier, before proceeding to the official groundbreaking ceremony.

Yourbarfactory, a specialty agribusiness company, will build an 80,000 sq. Ft. building targeting LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification. "Located on Belanger Street, this building will help strengthen our pride and serve as an example in our prospecting activities that we are intensifying at this time. The mayor said, thanking Mr. Joyal and Yourbarfactory for choosing Châteauguay.

"The project formalized this morning is the concrete proof that Châteauguay has the assets to shine and stimulate economic development and that we are at work to facilitate investment projects," added Mr. Routhier. "With the goal of providing unparalleled customer service, the City has done things differently in this area and will continue to do so. Support for the company, including the benefits of living in Chateauguay to Yourbarfactory employees likely to relocate here, is being considered. "

The arrival of this important agri-food player is added to the list of companies that have made real estate investments in the industrial park since the beginning of the year. Between January 1 and June 1, 2018, $ 12.5 million worth of permits were issued and $ 1.6 million of sales revenue was collected or is in the process of being cashed.

The Châteauguay industrial park has more than 200 businesses and close to 2,500 jobs, for an overall property value of almost $200 million. Châteauguay is the 5th economic hub of the South Shore in terms of jobs and established businesses.
