Close to 200 citizens participated on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Rendez-vous citoyens organized by the Mayor or Châteauguay Nathalie Simon.

Mrs. Simon has revealed the special planning project concerning the Downtown area.  She also presented a 3-D animation of what will be done in the near future on Maple boulevard and also a vision of what could be done in the next twenty years on D’Anjou boulevard.  In the context of Highway 30 reducing the distance between cities, such development is essential for the future of Châteauguay reckons Mrs. Simon.
