From June 4 to 14: Branches collection

The appropriate and the wrong way to place your branches

Due to the bad weather and strong winds of recent weeks, a special collection of branches will take place from June 4 to 14 throughout the municipality. For two weeks, from Monday to Thursday, municipal employees will crisscross the streets to pick up branches that have not survived Mother Nature's gusts or whims, occurring more frequently than usual.

Citizens (districts 1 to 8) are asked to leave their branches at the curb no later than the day before the pick-up teams will be in their neighborhood.

District 1 & 2 (de la Noue & du Filgate): Monday and Tuesday, June 4 and 5

District 3 & 4 (de Robutel & de Bumbray): Wednesday and Thursday, June 6 and 7

District 5 & 6 (de Salaberry & de Lang): Monday and Tuesday, June 11 and 12

District 7 & 8 (de Le Moyne & D’Youville): Wednesday and Thursday, June 13 and 14

At all times, it is possible to leave branches at the Ecocentre (located at 224 Industrial Boulevard) at no charge. New this year: Châteauguay residents are now entitled to a maximum of 5 annual visits per household.

Guidelines to be followed to properly dispose of branches
