With the decline in the water level of lake Saint-Louis and the Châteauguay River, the City has begun removing dykes erected on the banks of the river.

Dykes will be removed in the following order:

  • Edmour Street and Vinet Road
  • Salaberry Nord Boulevard, under the de la Sauvagine bridge
  • Salaberry Nord Boulevard, between Stanton Ouest Street and the Adirondack bridge

Once the operations are complete, the City will work to clean the premises to make them clean and safe.
