On Tuesday, April 6, the repair work of heritage elements will begin on Île Saint-Bernard. At the end of this project, the mill, staircase, grotto, cross and cemetery will be rehabilitated to ensure their longevity and improve the visitor experience. These five relics will also be
illuminated and will constitute a historical route to discover. Thanks to the participation of archivists from the Grey Nuns of Montréal and the Société du Musée du Grand Châteauguay (SMGC), five interpretive panels will highlight the attractions and tell their story.
