Spring break day camp – Activ’Été is off.

Covid-19: No day camps during the 2021 school break

Following the Government’s announcement in accordance with the Direction générale de la santé publique, day camps will be prohibited during the 2021 Spring break. However, child care service will be available for parents who are considered as essential workers via the school system.


  • March 1 to 5, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    Day care: from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. and from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

  • Special one-day outings are also offered à la carte, whether or not your child is signed up for day camp. An outing to the aquatic park, a visit to the zoo and swimming at the beach are just some of the activities that are generally offered.

    Please note that the à la carte outings are included if your child is registered for a full week of day camp.

  • The integration program is a non-specialized program to foster the integration and participation of children with special needs in the daily activities at day camp. The child is paired with a counsellor who provides the support required to help them integrate with the group.

    Parents who want to sign up their child for the spring break must complete the registration and needs identification form that can be found online or at the Centre culturel Georges-P.-Vanier . The deadline to apply for support is mid-January every year.

  • Cost

    Resident with Passeport-loisir: $190

    Non-resident with Passeport-loisir: $220

    Registration dates

    From mid-January to beginning of February (dates to be confirmed) – Additional fees of 25% will be added after this date.

    Limited – 80 places available | Passeport-loisir mandatory


    There are two ways to register:



    Payment methods accepted: Visa, MasterCard and Accès D.

    In person

    On registration day, go to the Centre culturel Georges-P.-Vanier .

    Payment methods accepted: Visa, MasterCard, debit card, cash or cheque made out to Ville de Châteauguay.

    • Registration can be cancelled, with a refund, up to ten days before the first day of camp. An administrative fee of $10 will be charged. Late fees are not refunded.
    • Ville de Châteauguay will refund the full amount, without penalty, if it changes the conditions for an activity before it begins.
    • If the registered person is unable to participate in the whole activity due to illness, the refund will be proportional to the service not used. A medical certificate is required no more than ten days after the beginning of the illness.
    • Ville de Châteauguay will charge a fee of $45 for NSF cheques.
    • If the child does not come to the planned location on time, Ville de Châteauguay will not be held responsible and will not offer a refund.
