Écocentre
An ecocentre is available to residents to collect materials which are not accepted for household waste collection. We collect: bulky waste, construction and demolition materials, hazardous waste, soil and green waste, home appliances, etc.

Monday to Wednesday: 10 am to 4 pm
Thursday and Friday: 10 am to 7 pm
Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm
Sunday: 10 am to 4 pm
November 16 to April 14
Monday to Wednesday: 10 am to 4 pm
Thursday and Friday: 10 am to 7 pm
Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm

Châteauguay residents are granted five free visits every year from May 15 to May 14 of the following year. You must provide proof of your address to be eligible. A fee is charged after five visits depending on the volume of the load.
Small business owners and retailers are also allowed to access the ecocentre for a fee.

Taking your materials to an ecocentre is an important effort as most items can enjoy a new life. In general, slightly more than 80% of materials brought to ecocentres can be recycled.
Châteauguay makes sure that all non-recyclable items are disposed of in a healthy and eco-friendly way.
