Public Notices
Under the Cities and Towns Act, the city has a duty to publish public notices to inform its residents of a variety of situations. For example, a change in municipal by-laws, a request for a minor variance related to urban planning, an update of assessment rolls and the calling of municipal elections are subject to such public communication.
Public notices are published in different locations and publications, including the municipality’s website.
