Vehicles Storage
The storage of passenger vehicles more than seven years old is regulated in Châteauguay.
Rules also apply to the parking and storage of recreational vehicles and commercial vehicles and to trucks.
Applicable standards
Across the entire territory, it is prohibited to have on a property one or more vehicles manufactured more than seven years ago and not registered for the current year or with a registration status that does not include the right to drive on the public roads.
An administrative codification is a document that combines the original text of a by-law with all the amendments made since its adoption. It has no legal weight. It is rather a tool created solely to make it easier to read and understand the by-law as a whole. Only the original by-law and its amending by-laws have legal weight.
