Having proclaimed December 1, 2020 as Giving Tuesday, the City of Châteauguay invites its citizens to participate in this vast movement of generosity by supporting organizations in the region. The city joins the community Mardi, je donne Roussillon, which brings together organizations from the region.
Citizens are invited to make a donation, to one or more organizations of their choice. Community organizations work daily with the most vulnerable communities particularly affected by the health crisis. They provide services that are often essential and unknown.
