Free self-service distribution of compost and wood chips

During the spring, the distribution of compost and wood chips is offered free to the population.

Note that wood chips are brought in regularly following tree chipping operations. You take what you need!

Wood chips and compost can be picked up at the following location while supplies last:

  • Public Works building, close to the north administration parking lot (220 boulevard Industriel);

Followin the huge success of our distribution of compost, the supplies are now exhausted.

Thank you for participating in such large numbers and we look forward to seeing you next spring.

Instructions to follow

Distribution of compost and wood chips is for personal use only; you are not permitted to redistribute or sell them. As we have opted for self-service, we encourage residents to think of others and avoid taking excessive quantities.

Distribution is free while stocks last.

 

This initiative is intended to thank the population for its great participation in the collection of organic materials. It is also in line with the City’s commitment to environmental preservation and sustainable development.
