Organizations and associations recognized by Châteauguay
The city recognizes the importance of community organizations and voluntary action in the service offer to residents. It considers therefore that it is essential to provide support for these initiatives created and developed in the community to make it easier to provide these activities and services.
To be recognized, organizations must meet the eligibility requirements that are set out in one of the four recognition and support policies for organizations, drawn up based on the type of organization:
- cultural organizations;
- sport and outdoors organizations;
- leisure and recreation organizations;
- community action and development organizations.
