Waterways
During the summer, thousands of lovers of sports and nautical activities listen to the call of the Châteauguay river and the banks of the St. Lawrence river.
Many rent non-motorized watercrafts and use the docks and boat launching ramps.

Le Centre nautique and la Pointe nautique
Other than docks, the Nautical Centre allows water sports enthusiasts to rent watercharfts and launch their paddle boats and sailing boats (less than 3.7 m (12 ft)) during the nautical centre’s opening hours.

Light paddle watercrafts can access the water at la Pointe Nautique. City attendants assist citizens during opening hours. A high pressure washing station is available free of use.
