Halls

Shows offered on the Château Scènes program are performed in one of the following two halls: salle Jean-Pierre-Houde or salle du Pavillon de l’île. The choice of hall depends on several factors, including the artist, type of show and availability of the venue.

  • Intimate and welcoming hall with 211 seats with an Italian-style sloped seating arrangement. Jean-Pierre-Houde hall has excellent acoustics and is recognized for the proximity that it offers to bring together performers and the audience.

  • Located in the enchanting landscape of Ile St-Bernard, the Pavillon de l’île hosts a multipurpose performance hall that can accommodate large shows in a number of different layouts: sloped seating arrangement with 392 seats, cabaret with 250 seats, festive cabaret with 600 standing places.

  • Seats are available in every hall for individuals using wheelchairs. Please let us know if you would like this type of seat when you pay. Our halls are also equipped with hearing aid systems for individuals with hearing difficulties when shows are amplified (not available for theatre shows). People who would like to use these systems must have a device that can receive FM signals.
