AlertEAU – Watering restrictions, bans and maintenance work

AlertEAU informs you of all the work that is being done on the network that could affect the water pressure and of restrictions or prohibitions on the use of water.

Fire hydrant inspections

Fire hydrant inspections have begun throughout the territory and are expected to continue until fall. This could cause some citizens to experience coloured water, regardless of the sector where the work is being carried out.

In case of brown water, it is recommended to turn on the cold water of the bath for 20-30 minutes, and everything should return to normal. At all times, the water remains drinkable. If possible, during the week, we suggest you to avoid doing laundry during the day. To avoid any risk of staining your clothes, we strongly recommend that you do your laundry in the evening.

Streets affected by inspections

Last update: Thursday, August 5, 11:45 a.m.

Check this page regularly to find out which streets are affected by the inspections each day. Please note: the effects of the fire hydrants inspections, such as coloured water, may not be limited to the streets where the inspections are taking place.
