Sussex presents a mix of blues, folk, ragtime, Americana and jazz. Internationally renowned musicians Rob Lutes (guitar, banjo, voice) and Michael Emenau (vibraphone, pianica) are accompanied on stage by the talented Bruno Lamarche (saxophone, clarinet) and the legendary Ivanhoe Jolicoeur (trumpet). On original pieces and some jewellery from the blues and TinPan Alley era, Sussex offers melodious songs with powerful lyrics and high level musicality, all performed by a soul voice.

Joe Louis Walker is an American blues singer and guitarist from San Francisco. Coming from a musical family, he is one of the most talented and creative bluesman of his generation. He writes most of his repertoire and released his 24th album entitled "Journeys To The Heart Of The Blues" in 2018. 

His influences are multiple and he integrates a strong dose of gospel, traditional blues and rock into his writing. He was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2013 and has received numerous Grammy and Blues Music Awards throughout his distinguished career.
