River shuttle between Châteauguay and Lachine

The river shuttle relay between the city of Châteauguay and the Lachine borough (Montreal), weekends and holidays, from June 29 to September 16. (Holidays: June 24, July 1 and September 2)

Prices

For a one-way ticket, payable on the boat. Including taxes.

The boat can carry around forty passengers at a time.

No reservation. First come, first served!

Adult (13 years and over): $12

5 to 12 years: $6

0 to 5 years: Free

Family of 4: $30

Excursions on the river

Learn more about the fauna, the flora and the historical characteristics of the oldest part of the seigniory of Châteauguay. Take the pontoon for an excursion on the Châteauguay River.

Charter the pontoon boat for a special activity with your family and friends (for groups of maximum 12 persons). An activity everyone will enjoy!

Refuge faunique Marguerite-D'Youville

The wildlife refuge is open to public according to calendar. .

It has different observation stations with accommodations (bridges, interpretation signs) for visitors to observe animals in their natural habitat. Deer, foxes and birds can be observed, of which the great blue heron, Châteauguay's avian emblem

Fernand-Seguin Ecological Centre

The Fernand-Seguin Ecological Center is:

  • From 2 to 5 km of walking trail, depending on the season
  • Free guided tours offered on reservation
  • 20 km of marked trails for cross-country skiing
  • A site for both nature lovers and sportsmen
